EUROBAK StructureEUROBAK
European Business Association of Kazakhstan (EUROBAK) has been established in 1999 upon joint initiative of EU Delegation in Central Asia and European companies working in Kazakhstan for several purposes:
• to represent view of European business community in Kazakhstan
• to promote European business and commerce in Kazakhstan
• to foster European-Kazakhstan business relationships
EUROBAK Structure: The highest authority within the Association is the General Meeting of Members. The General Meeting of Members appoints EUROBAK Board of Directors.
EUROBAK Board of Directors is a decision making body that defines strategy and objectives of EUROBAK. EUROBAK Board of Directors meets every month. The Board consists of 10 Directors elected by EUROBAK members at Annual General Meeting. Honorary Board member is changing every 6 month and represented by the Ambassador of country that is holding EU Presidency.
EUROBAK Secretariat Office runs administration and organisational matters of EUROBAK. At the same time, the Secretariat keeps members informed on new events, development or any other information sources available for Members.
According to the decision of EUROBAK Board of Directors since 2004 EUROBAK Working Groups will be launched and working on ad hoc basis. At the moment EUROBAK has Agrochemical Business Committee.
